#R2K Analysis: "The Drive"

Good day blogosphere. Hope all is well. New music will soon be released once again. This time, I’ll be putting out a track called “The Drive". It’s one of the many track I produced myself on the september release of “The Roaring 2000’s: Beauties & The Beast" . I also wanted to say thank you to everyone that been keep up with the free-verse music I’ve been releasing since “Midnight In The Studio". That song WILL NOT BE ON #R2K, but this is the vice-versa to it. As I mentioned earlier, I did produce this one my self. I’m more of a sampling guy myself, but my goal with sampling is not not deface this original work, but to recreate other genres in Hip-Hop. Had the perfect opportunity to do that by using Alicia Keys piano ballad from the ‘Butterflies’ track off of here debut album “Songs In A Minor". No real hook included, just long flows to break away from the standard song format you all have been hearing lately. Since I named this piece “The Drive", I felt it was only ‘right to ride the beat’ as they say. still has the clever lines I’m known for, but but more focused on the message of determination, perseverance, and that forced that keeps you going, hence why it’s called “The Drive" I haven’t released any videos for #R2K… yet. This will will included a visual, but be forewarned, the visual has nothing to do with the album, but everything to do with the song. It’s a different approach than what I’ve taken in the past. but I hope you all enjoy it. I’ll give you the cover art early as usual. The road to September will be here sooner than you think. Be sure to follow me on SoundCloud for the music, YouTube fir the video, & AndIAmEugenius.com for all other updates. Peace God peoples. -And I Am, Eugenius
